BCCEC In Action: BCCEC GETS A $300,000+ FACELIFT FOR FREE

On Wednesday 9th October, 2024, the Bahamas Chamber of Commerce & Employers’ Confederation held a star-studded press release and mixer to unveil its $300,000+ newly renovated and rebranded building and to pay homage to the 28 businesses that donated to the cause.

 

Timothy Ingraham, Chairman of the BCCEC, praised Dr. Leo Rolle for “hitting the ground with a sprint since being onboarded in May”. He further opined that, “what began as a simple conversation with Dr. Rolle to repair a leak in the roof, soon mushroomed into a full scale, $300,000+ renovation and rebranding exercise, surpassing all of our expectations”. 

 

Don Williams, Vice-Chairman of the BCCEC, expressed his gratitude to the businesses that came on board willingly and noted that the Chamber is “indeed alive and well – firing on all cylinders”! In his closing remarks, he said, “this outpouring of support is proof of the power of partnerships and strategic collaboration such that this simple PPP, done on a micro level, yielded the results that create an environment conducive to growth and prosperity”.

 

Dr. Leo Rolle, CEO of the BCCEC, said that “this exercise would not have been possible without the genuine care and support of the 28 businesses that we intend to publicly thank with a plaque and letter of commendation today”. He thanked his “small but mighty” team at the Chamber for their continued support and unwavering commitment” before going on to recognize the 28 businesses for their donation including;
