In BCCEC In Action News, BCCEC CEO Dr. Leo Rolle recently traveled and met with various agencies and stakeholders. Firstly, he paid a courtesy visit to His Excellency Paul A. Gomez at the Bahamas High Commission in London, England. Following this, he visited the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He concluded his trip by participating in the MSME Skills & Capacity Building Conference in India.


The BCCEC also released two press releases giving statements on raised concerns over the government’s “invasive inspection strategies” toward compliant businesses about armed agents of the government entering business establishments in New Providence for impromptu inspections and statements on the conclusion of the national budget debate meant to shape the trajectory of the economy.


In our Trade Section, the Bahamas Trade Information Portal recently interviewed Mechelle McDonald, the dynamic entrepreneur behind AmberL, about her recent participation at the Afreximbank Annual Meetings, highlighting her dedication to expanding trade opportunities and building strategic partnerships.
