Junior Achievement (JA) the Bahamas powered by the BCCEC, is proud to present the Annual Business Plan Pitch Competition, a dynamic showcase of entrepreneurial talent among our nation’s youth.
This exciting competition will feature eight outstanding teams from various Junior Achievement companies, each defending their innovative business plans in a bid to win the title of Best Business Plan Pitch. The event underscores the Chamber’s commitment to fostering a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation among young Bahamians while highlighting the remarkable efforts of Junior Achievement Bahamas in nurturing the next generation of business leaders. The competition will take place on January 28th, 2025 at 6pm, and will feature 5 judges: Don Williams, Keith Roye, Alicia Murphy, and Joshua Smith, with Dr. Leo Rolle serving as chief judge.
Although the event is closed to the public, it will bring together key stakeholders, including mentors, business professionals, and educators, who play a vital role in shaping the future of these young entrepreneurs. The participants have invested countless hours into crafting and perfecting their business plans, and this competition offers a unique platform to showcase their hard work, creativity, and potential.
This year’s hosting of this year’s JA Annual Business Plan Pitch Competition reflects a shared vision between Junior Achievement Bahamas and the BCCEC to inspire and equip young minds with the skills, confidence, and resources needed to thrive in an ever-changing global economy. Together, we are cultivating a pipeline of future business leaders who will contribute to the growth and sustainability of The Bahamas.
