NEWS - Nationwide Plastic Ban 2020

As of January 1, 2020, you will be charged 25 cents to a dollar for each plastic bag requested at checkout at Bahamian stores. Use of these bags will only be permitted for six months (from January 1st - June 30th, 2020).

After this period, they will be replaced with compostable plastic bag options.
