Recap: BAHAMAS-CHINA TRADE AND INVESTMENT FORUM | October 20th - 21st, 2021

In order to strengthen the economic and trade links and cooperation between The Bahamas and China, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), The Bahamas Chamber of Commerce and Employers’ Confederation (BCCEC) and the Chinese Embassy in The Bahamas co-hosted an online Bahamas-China Trade and Investment Forum at 8:30 pm-10:30 pm on 20 October 2021.


Representatives from the Bahamian and Chinese governments and representatives from the business community discussed trade and investment opportunities between the two countries along with preferential policies and key industry promotion.


The following morning of 21 October 2021 business-to-business matchmaking sessions were held between both sides in the areas of General Trade, Renewable Energy, Financial Services, Tourism, and Agriculture.
